Unless, like me you are a manic depressive, the 2 2 statements are the same.

Can I make a request - see what happens in the next 5 games and then do the poll again. If we have only accumulated another 3 or 4 points by then it will be damned interesting to see how the results change.

Hope you're right, and if so, I'll hold my hands up. I'd walk broken glass just to see bit of chuffing entertainment at Oakwell, so holding my hands up to saying the 'keep LJ' group were right will be easy. I'll gladly do it.

I just don't hold out any hope myself that it will happen. Even if we win a few games, we are not going to get promoted, we will finish middle third at best, in a very very poor league, and the entertainment is very unlikely to get any better. We knew he played defensively from the Oldham fans, so it is not like a short term experiment - this is who he is. And it is not for me.

For what its worth, I hovered over the 'get rid now' option, but then choked and went for the 'need wins fast otherwise get rid' option in the end. But if it has not improved in 5 games then it may be different next time.

I would do, no problem but even if we start to get results, the performances will still be awful to watch, I've no doubt. Eventually he will have to go whether we are getting more results or not because the club cant afford to lose the fans the way they will keeping this boring football on show, I hope then you hold your hands up and say you were wrong.

Good players in defence ? Teams don't seem to find it too hard to score against us, the second goal yesterday was very poor defending from Smith and Nyatanga.

    A worse side? Give over.

Agree that it's often dull to watch. And he wasn't my choice for manager either.

But I find it bizarre folk want him out after such a short space of time. If he was sacked now it'd be the shortest reign of any manager in my lifetime I think. Are we losing every week or summat? I think folk lack patience.

I feel a bit sorry for him. He is doing exactly what he's always done and being slated for it. I reckon most fans are actually not annoyed with Lee Johnson and his short reign as such and are more annoyed by the fact that by and large it has been going on for years with just a different name in the dugout. To him its 8 months, to the fans it's 8 years (or more)

Blame must lie elsewhere at the club

Our gates haven't gone down, our away gates are better than they've been in years. I don't think the fans are being lost. I just think a few on here have lost their arses because we've lost a couple of games and it's not reight pretty at minute. Nowt that a few wins and decent displays can't sort out.

I find it difficult to believe folk who call it the most boring football ever, or suggest they'll stop attending, when we've sat through some right ******* turnip over the last few years. I loved Keith Hill, but ended up admitting defeat there when he served up the worst football in years. Worse than owt LJ's lads are producing. And Flicker in his second season went even further, with hoofball and jackanory defending. That was a mile worse than it is now. And as much as I worship Danny, I saw some reight tripe under him the second time around. Leeds at home, Chester at home, Donny away people keep referring to, Swindon last season, ******* hell, MK Dons last season at Oakwell for 60 minutes was quite possibly the most feeble display I've ever seen, and I sat through Nigel Spackman.

Folk need to get some perspective, chill art a bit.

It's not good right now, it's far from it to be honest. But it's October, we're mid table not marooned at the foot of the table, we've got some decent laikers and LJ has got performances out of them previously, just a couple of weeks ago actually. And, we ought to have won both the defeats we're bairning about. We were unlucky, poor, not good enough, whatever.

    But sacking him? Really?

    Mental.

Our gates will go down if the ***** being served up continues and the away following has been better since we come down, not since LJ came in, mainly because people were sick of visiting the same places every year and getting beat 3/4-0. That too will go down if people carry on being bored to death, infact id dare say a lot only go now for the day on the ale mainly.

I'm not calling for his head because of how bad its been the last few games. I dont want him here because what he's shown us he's got since he's been in charge, which is not a lot. He cost us IMO a genuine shot at the play offs last season, he completely cocked up our summer recruitment signing somewhere close to 1.4 million midfielders and he's cost us numerous points so far this season. He's either too stubborn or stupid when it comes to realising his tactics arnt working and he seems to have an ego when it comes to selecting his own players. I genuinely think Winnall would have been gone had it not been for the fans showing how much we love him.

Personally I'll no longer be making getting to the match my priority on a weekend while he's here. If I've got nothing else on I'll probably go but other than that I can watch Eastenders omnibus and be bored out my head on a weekend for a lot cheaper.

I feel the same. I regarded Danny as a club legend and I thought he was treated with an appalling lack of respect. The reasons given for his sacking were pathetic and could so easily be applied to LJ right now. What happened to Danny did a lot of damage to my respect for the club and while I don't want to see us sacking another manager, I'm sort of past caring any more.
