    A bloody joke, I think Southend should be sanctioned by the FA for this mess.

    It doesn't matter who the folk are that go. It's quite justifiable to say that the fans are being treated crappily even if you never ever went to any game.

    I don't think it should be moved

    Nor do I think our home games v Wednesday should kick off at Saturday lunchtime. 3pm Saturday is when football should kick off - Premiership aside who have sold their soul for Sky's bribery.</p>

    But I think there's plenty on here with no intention of going to Southend whenever it would be played who like a good old whinge.</p>

    I get the impression that the solution which would have suited all parties best would have been to leave everything as it was. We play them Satdi and they play thescum on Monday on Sky, having bothhad the same rest.</p>

    Its all Southend's fault, they're the ones who wanted to mess about with the FA cup fixture. </p>

    As usual the fans get shat on.</p>

    The Scum whinged and took their ball home - twice this season we have played on a Saturday and Monday, remember Blackpool (I think) having their weekend game cancelled completely?

    We stuff Southend and Southend stuff Leeds.

    Although that would have been the preferable outcome anyway!


    Anyway - Southend are still getting a longer rest than Leeds!

    it's not that leeds bleated loudly, they simply chose not to take up the option of a televised monday night game. Southend knew after trying to rearrange the brighton match that if they didn't play saturday then leeds wouldn't play them on sky yet they still went ahead and asked us to change days.
