I'm a Leeds supporter & attended the game with my Barnsley-supporting mate. He bought our tickets for the East Upper. I've done the same for him when we've played at Elland Road. Neither of us have had any problems at either ground. But then again neither of us jump up at inappropriate moments!

Yeah. I never saw it happen, in truth. I was told it had, but it could easily be the case that it never did.

Something went off, but I am close to the back of the Ponty, and whatever happened was miles down the stand in front of me.

I certainly wouldn’t be able to sit in the opposition crowd, I get too animated (mainly with referees).

I don’t think football fans of the 2 teams should be sat together and it’s made me slightly uncomfortable in the past when away fans have been in our stands.

I was sat to the left of it all didn' really notice it all at 1st saw a steward try to take on Leeds fan out near the dimensions box but had to divert and get alot of reinforcements as a large group had gathered to greet him after that even more from the top of the stand and a carry on broke out between stewards and fans.
After I heard they were 2 in the esl sat together not causing no bother but their convo gave it away and the bloke at side pulled them on it meaning they had to get out of the ground. One may of got hit like you say but I don' think to the extent of knocked out the stewards at oakwell take some stick but if they is carry on in home ends they are usually on top of it sharpish.

Same here , I drive to bfc and he drives to lufc .
Funny alternative story is that last season I went to Brighton v. BFC with an old mate who loves in Sussex and sat among the Brighton fans .
Me with a Yorkshire accent and him with a Southern accent .
He complimented a BFC player and the guy sat next to him queried his support .
I was alright as when Brighton scored their first goal I was rising out of my seat in frustration and thought better keep going here .
Clapped twice and chuntering with my inner voice .
I did applaud loudly though when Knockfart did an outrageous piece of skill by the touch line .
