    Naples and Marseille are the only cities Europe bigger than Leeds with only one professional football club.

    There is however a flip side in that Leeds is part of a mega-conurbation which contains probably ten other professional football clubs, plus a load of rugby league clubs as well.

    In any case they should get huge gates whatever division they're in. And Elland Road is a massive **** tip, which should be razed to the ground at the next opportunity. Dreadful stadium.

    It’s not really their gates that I’m envious of, it’s the atmosphere.

    Oakwell is like a cemetery most Saturdays. Most folk grumble when other fans try to sing. I actually think we have one of the worst home atmospheres I’ve seen.
