RE: No we don't How many points have we taken from Doncaster Rovers since they have been back in the football league? (dunno)
Just because we got the odd gem from them does not make them great - they also gave us bleeding pearson! Seriously though, much as I cannot stand Ryan, its less likely donny will be a competative force in the chamionship than the white *****.
40 here and can't stand the Leeds scum - Comes more from working in Leeds for 20yrs and hearing the constant 'Leeds, Leeds, Leeds....' *****
RE: 20 years of age Of course they are, but please explain how the scum bags of Leeds united are more scum than Rangers fans Barnsley fans and Cardiff fans, Please explain
RE: 20 years of age From a personal experience Leeds fans are bigger scumbags than any I've ever encountered. Their violent, yobbish, threatening behaviour leaves a lot to be desired.
Hate The Cnuts I almost walked out of my course today when i heard "LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS" been sung, horrible place, horrible fans. Cant wait for Look North in the build upto the final Gration wont know which team to worship more the 2 faced lovely person
It's not how we do against them it's how the other teams do We could lose to Donny twice next season, but still finish ten places above em', and I'd take that. Scum on the other hand would be a completely different story, they'll attract big players, big sponsors, pay big money, and potentially finish a lot higher than we will. And all because they're a set of dirty, cheating b@stards who should have been in the conference this season.
Brian Clough summed it up perfectly "You guys are now going to learn how to play proper football without kicking people" (or something along those lines) Hating Leeds has nothing to do with how old someone is. I'm 24 but I've seen enough videos from well before I was born showing them playing the kind of game that makes you cringe, never mind the experiences I had growing up in Wakefield! It's no coincidence that when people talk about the great teams of the last century Don fooking Revie doesn't get a mention. Give me Busby, Shankly, Paisley, Clough, Stein...................uncomparable to the Revie's and your Bremners. Dirty Leeds has stuck for 30 years or more, because it's true!
RE: Brian Clough summed it up perfectly I wish you had seen that Revvie team, i did when i was a young man, they where fantastic. Perhaps Revvie didn't get the glory that shanks and Busby got in those days. Buts lets be honest most of the Barnsley population supported Leeds united, when poor old BarnsleyFC where in the lower reaches of the 4th division. It's so nice now that we are above them, but like them or hate them they are a big city club who are ( and lets be honest) are on the road back. I hope they come up next season, we will take points off Leeds than the Ryan's army.
I think you are deluded Spouting crap like that ought to see you with a ST to see the white *****. unbelievable.
RE: I think you are deluded Don't talk fecking wet, you my friend are deluded. the thing is with your type, you have no experience, with you who look on the fact that it couldn't happen that most Barnsley people supported Leeds United in those days will come has a big shock for a simleton and demic fecking idiot like your self. Ask some of the old Barnsley supporters, ask them who they supported in the late 70s and on. Most of them will say Leeds United, when Barnsley FC was'nt a whisper on the lips of the town
Are you for real? It may not have been my era but didn't Revvie last less than a month as England manager? And didn't Clough last less than 45 days as manager of the scum, mainly due to the idiot mentality of most of the players? What I've seen may be limited but the successful Leeds team of years gone by weren't a patch on the other great sides of near enough the same decade, and were renowned as a dirty bunch of cheating gets.................just like they are now. As for the Wilkinson side that won the league, Jesus Christ, not a patch on other sides to win the top flight. They may be a big city club, nobody can dispute that, afterall isn't Leeds the fastest growing European city or something daft like that? But I wouldn't say they're on there way back, and if they do it the season it's only by default. And I repeat what I said to you earlier, over the course of a season it will prove extremely hard to finish above the scum due to the money they will spend and the players they will attract. Donny on the other hand might take 6 points off us, but will be fighting relegation for the whole season. Seriously, do the maths!
RE: I think you are deluded I didn't ,but you are correct there were a lot of Leeds fans in Barnsley in the early 70's
