I used to get my haircut a spitting distance from where that bus was on fire, am I allowed to virtue signal?
There’s some really bad places in Leeds but there’s some really bad places in Barnsley. I’m not sure which is is worse, Armley or Grimey. I grew up in one of the poorest areas of Barnsley and I’m in a nicer area (not posh, just friendly and well resourced) of Leeds so I’m going to be biased to where I am now. I can’t imagine not being in a city now which is funny because I was convinced that I was going to move somewhere rural growing up.
My old man lived in Grimey and I've lived in Armley for over 50 years. Harehills stands alone unfortunately, was Chapeltown for years which was the worst. No contest these days. Shame, a lot of my mates live there and all lovely lads.
C,O,Y,R, keep the riots rioters an the nuckle draggin neanderthals out of Barnsley, an Brid, just that.
Aye i live in Brid nar but its Barnsley where i'm from an love, been all over the World 23yrs Army an Holidays an theres no place like home.
Brid is an amazing place. I really should go more often but only been once in the last 10 years I think
I don't speak that lingo so wouldn't know. All I know is kids aren't been brought up right if there involved in that and adults and family are there watching

Bearing in mind the ultra-strict gun laws in the UK and complete absence of gun culture, I'd say that's about as likely as Torquay United winning the Premier League in the same timeframe.
Didn't Johnson spaf a 5hit load of money on watter cannons that didn't work, a few years ago? (I bet he bought them off a mate at incredibly inflated prices).
I don't know they seemed to work well at France 98 when England fans were been dicks. Definitely looks like police have gone soft.
Although it's about twenty years ago now; Leeds is the only place I've lived with bars on my windows and doors, and the only place I felt uneasy walking the streets after dark. All my years in London (even throughout the riots) it didn't feel unsafe.
