Small claims I agree with Chef Tyke re this is a simple process but its not without cost. Then when you get a result you have to recover, then it costs. Sounds like the guy is in a little bit of trouble from the details re leaving home, etc etc. Still think a face to face meeting allowing him installment payments is the best course of action.
Ahhh, I understand now - your post entitled "fool" was supposed to be a response to Terry Nutkins. But you don't understand how to post correctly. There's some irony there, but you will probably miss it. I presume it's a deliberate attempt to come across like a tool? Good work.
You live and learn Whenever I lend out money to friends, which isn't too often I must say, I generally give verbal terms and conditions at the time of the handover...such as "your life may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments". It tends to help them remember actually borrowing it in the first place. Another tip....never lend anyone money while you are drunk, that's when you never have a chance of getting it back.
Old Nutkins in a spot of bother ne wonder he cant affoord a cheap holiday, still owes me 50 quid after 12 month. What comes around goes around as they say. Might try the small claims court missen, if a can get a tin a beeans art r it al bi laphin. Knows wor a mean ol ****!
