I used to collect conkers there! Barrow-upon-Soar?

    Stayed in Quorn(don) every autumn.

I was there only last week.

An avenue of Horse Chestnut trees, truly beautiful in autumn. Wish I had a photo... good conkers, too. Beat the ones from up here, every time!

first ever away game i went to -

atmosphere was absolutely electric - we were fenced in and slightly below ground - i'll never forget that experience.

Yes, Redders made Macallister look like an amateur

best game Brendan O'connell ever had for us, he was brilliant.

Yep, I've still got the Match of the Day highlights for that game. Its great fun. During the pen shoot out, Lee Butler stops proceedings to dive on a balloon!
Archdeacon's goal was ace, I lost my shoe jumping up and down in the ponty after that went in.

Sunderland, at Oakwell, would be nice ....

big game, big crowd and a chance to see Macca back at the well.

he's not the cleverest is our julian

dads friend used to coach him when he went to school in boston. had to take him to get on the train for every training session to get to leicester as he coudln't manage it on his own and got on the wrong train apparently. cracking footballer though - that goal was probably the best i have ever seen at oakwell, or at least matching barnyards v hudds.
