Fair enough but I’d say it wouldn’t look good on Duff if leya isn’t putting a shift in when others are trying and not getting picked .
Not saying that’s what’s going on but just my interpretation of what’s been said and done .

 

Previous 2 managers had Woodrow and Morris to choose luxury's that Duff doesn't have, it seems a strange one that Iseka isn't getting a place on the bench.

 

Yeh thats certainly what Duffs saying and i would be 100% in agreement with him if the strikers that are being selected were doing the business but they're not they're woeful' give the lad a bit of game time if only from the bench and lets see if he can prove his worth' thats what we're paying him for after all.

 

Not for me tbh , it then becomes a discipline issue and others thinking’s why should I put a shift in training and not get picked .

Effort v ability

The team have been a bit crap (at times), but I don't think it's down to a lack of effort

If someone who can't be arsed waltzes straight into the XI, what message does that send? For me, effort should be rewarded

 

I think that there's probably more to it than what we know about but Duff saying that Iseka doesn't feature in his plans is a difficult one to come back from.
If Iseka chooses not to leave he'll be here longer than Duff.

Exactly, out of our strikers he was the whipping boy for last season along with Cole, I agree that they weren't brilliant but neither was anybody else.
Looks like Norwoods got the title for this season despite hardly playing for us.

It does when the lads we have playing up front, aside from the Bristol Rover game, don't really look like scoring. I'd have been tempted to play him in the Lincoln game.

 

It's not a school football team.The 11 best players should be picked. I don't think managers in general should air their grievances to anyone other than the person/people involved

 

Duff has backed himself into a corner with this one, surely it would make more sense to judge him in game time before going public that he doesn't figure in his plans. It will be interesting to see how this pans out if he doesn't get a move abroad this week.

If i put something derogatory about my employer on social media i would certainly be facing disciplinary matters.

 

Isn't everyone assuming that 'not doing it in training' and 'it is up to Aaron' means he isn't giving effort? I've never heard confirmation of this. It could be that 'not doing it in training' means he just doesn't look good enough, despite his efforts, and 'it is up to Aaron' could just mean that he has a contract at the club so would need to be willing to be open to offers from other clubs. I'm not saying either interpretation is correct, just that there are a lot of assumptions here. It was the same with the Styles situation.

Having said all this, I have no idea what the flip that comic sans Instagram post was about.
