I’ve been in the minority many times.
Sometimes I’ve been on my own banging on about something while swimming against the tide of opinion on here.

Latest one was - advocating we should go for a manager like Chris Wilder.
Reason we might get him is because there’s no money at the Blunts.
Everyone laughed.
And then a few days later - Wilder says he might leave Sheffield United because there’s no money.

If you look back - I was warning about relegation many many months ago - in relation to poorly planned players contracts.
The seeds of this seasons relegation struggle were sown soon after we won at Wembley and got promoted into the Championship.

 

If I was voting for POTY I'd vote for him.

I also said that based on his CV Daniel Bogdanovic wouldn't be good enough. But then I also said Odejayi, K Jackson and Ugbo wouldn't be good enough.

Yeah, as I said, with transfers you win some and lose some. Particularly with strikers and we’ve had a lot of dud over the years.

I just wanted to see something positive from you, no worries.

If it were just a case of a prediction going wrong then you'd be right, except it wasn't just that, it was a snide, bitter post from somebody desperate to aim vitriol at the club and those who support it. It was "Aren't I clever, you're thick for thinking this was a good signing". It was a nasty, condescending post made purely out of spite because the club took a positive step and that ruined his chance to do some bitching. In those circumstances it's absolutely fair to give a bit of pillocking.
