Only time will tell if we miss his ability, at a guess I'd say not !

Who from our midfield will offer any goal threat. I know we have a real issue up front but that has been evident for numerous seasons.

why do we seem to have a history of buying players with so called good reputations, who com to oakwell, turn out to be *****, but the invariably move on, and suddenly come good again, ot is that just me? for example.... sheron, gallen, etc

Time for them to start shooting, a lot Howards goal were due to his late runs into the box. I don't think we have a player capable of that
so its upto the Manager to get them to produce more chances for the strikers.

Glad hes gone leon will prove to be better, yes maybe light in the challenge but has better vision, skill and ability. he might not score as many but god howard scored mostly pens last year.
    (9 pens 5 goals=14) not amazing

idont think leon will replace howard, but because of howards attitude this season ithink now we have a better middfield and i think it is already evident. We created more chances against norich than we have all season inmo. come on it can only get better.(brian who).

Howard had the most ability in the squad by a fair bit. And he'll get even better with quality around him. Mark my words! :)

Plus if a prem club realised that Barnsley were going to let him go for 500k im sure someone would hav taken a chance on him!
