Hemmsie, would you please explain to me what ''Club coefficients'' are so I can at least try to understand what you are getting at.

 

It basically boils down to how well each country do in European club competitions....or something like that.

 

I have asked him that before, he just says its something FIFA use!!!

 

Its a ranking system that's used by uefa to seed clubs in European competition. It's based on results by clubs and associations over the previous five years.

You get x points for win etc.

Flawed by the way. It's quite apparent how.

See if your a pants team like most of the Germans you are about 20 plus. If your one of the best teams you are near the top.
the Club coefficients where ranked points. The one that people look at are the 5 season Club coefficients. Manchester City and Real Madrid will almost certainly go up next season because they are defending 4 points about about 16 points which isn't much. Real Madrid got 36 points for an semi final. If they get to semi Finals again they will be on 143 which would move them up to 3rd on this years standings.

 

Sorry Phil but you've lost me with this post. And can you explain what club coefficients are because I don't know either.

Quick question - when everyone disagrees with you about pretty much everything you say, do you not stop and consider which of the following is more likely on the balance of probabilities:

1.) Everyone else (which encompasses a diverse set of ages, educational backgrounds, occupations and life experiences) are wrong, and you - as a young lad who has never had a job and has little life experience, no experience of football before the Premiership and a baffling obsession with statistics - are right.

OR

2.) The general consensus of the rest of the board is right and you are in fact an absolute loon.
