I have noticed though pinnock and lindsay will have to step up time will tell while Davis is no where to be seen

 

Errors, what about the one against forest. Believe he's cocked up on a couple of others as well. Can't believe how some on here, big him up. Our failings would be far more if Lindsay was still here. IMHO.
PS Although our defenders are also making errors. Lindsay would be my 4th choice if still here. I am not knocking the lad per say. If he makes the grade then good on him. He was ok but nothing more. I just honestly believe our 1st choice 3 centre halves are better. As was Pinnock.

 

Probably laughing his **** off in a swimming pool full of cash Scrooge McDuck style. I can't blame him.

They are debating their best defence and nobody has put Lindsay in it. Someone even said they would pay another team to take him off them and one claims he's on 25k a week which surely cannot be true!!! If it is no wonder he wouldn't even waste his time negotiating with us as we wouldn't get to half of that and rightfully so.

 

The original post was a bit of tongue in cheek from me at another post bashing an ex-player.

On who I’d have in our team right now I disagree. Lindsay joined us from the Scottish league at the same age as Diaby, Anderson & Halme are now & certainly performed better than the latter two from the off. I’d even argue Lindsay had a better start than Diaby after the other night’s error. We’re also crying out for a left footer in our back 3.

That’s not to say all 3 of the new lads won’t be better in time as they’re all quicker & taller so have a great chance but right now they all look more error prone in a Barnsley shirt than Lindsay did.

I’d also say that he’s a player who formed a good partnership whoever he played alongside. Him & Jackson were good together & him & Pinnock were good together. You put Pinnock & Jackson together & we couldn’t keep a clean sheet even at league one level.

 

As young as he is and without checking, I'd wager Lindsay has played not just more games of football than all of Andersen, Halme, Diaby and Sibbick combined, but twice as many combined. Which is absolutely barmy.

I think all of the new central defenders have something, but two alongside Pinnock would have helped a lot.

The back five on Tuesday were so right-footed. Seems weird that we signed four righty's.

On the opposite side of the coin mate my responses are to the persistent comments of how we would be better with Lindsay. (Too many to mention) As some people seem to suggest we would not be in this predicament with with Pinnock and Lindsay. They seem to think we needed championship experience ( I agree with that sentiment) The ONLY experience in the championship was with us and they took us down. I genuinely think Lindsay is an average CH. I've no beef with the lad and wish him luck. But imho these players are better.
