I liked them both, just think if We’d kept both of them. we could’ve Been cursing a narrow miss on the playoffs instead of being elated over a near relegation

Perhaps not, who knows. I’m more confident though we wouldn’t have been anywhere near a relegation battle

I liked Lindsay, seemingly more than a lot on here, but I always thought that Pinnock would take to the championship better. I think 99% of fans would’ve predicted that.

I haven’t really followed him closely at Stoke but I’m not sure he’s had that much of a chance. Hopefully he’ll get a decent chance at Blackburn and at least be able to try and show he can do it.

I didn’t want him to leave but if the reports were true that he wouldn’t speak to the club, then so be it.

I know you love the board but jesus lindsay would have walked into our back 4 last season and wigan only sold for a loss because they are 47million in debt and desperate for the money, moore was Wigan's top scorer and if we had kept him lindsay or pinnock we wouldnt have had to rely on wigan getting docked points to survive.

Well I think every single player sale the Board has sanctioned has been absolutely spot on and anyone who disagrees with them must be a sandwich short of a picnic.

Have you not read my reply? Cardiff only offered £2.3m before any administration back in January, you need to accept besides Pinnock the rest were not that clever really, we did well with the deals, they arent worth that much. l wouldnt put Lindsay at centre back for us next season.

Do you not think clubs knew wigan were skint long before they finally went tits up? Moore was Wigan's top scorer, he was miles in front of anything we had upfront bar maybe woodrow.
Lindsay would have played week in week out if he was still here last season.

In January? No, what a crock of **** nobody had a clue of Wigans up and coming troubles including their own fans. Nobody would offer more than £2.3m for a lower league journeyman, just accept it. It's been proven with what's happened.

Wigans top scorer with 10 goals...

Tbf whatever anyone on this board thinks is irrelevant in terms of players being sold. We have no bearing on that, however we all have opinions.

You are right , Pinnock in my opinion was the better player , however Hecky hardly played Pinnock in his first season here , which still puzzles me

Blackburn are in the Championship unless I’m missing summat...

They have recruited well over the last few years and you can’t see them spending any Significant money on a player they aren’t sure about. Still time will tell.

I’m loving the wouldn’t get in our team jibes. For 75% of last season our defence was abysmal. Mads played well for the final few games prior to that he was a complete liability. Is the change permanent who knows? It wouldn’t be surprising if he starts to perform averagely again.

I thought Pinnock better than Lindsay. I did worry about him getting booked more. Think the pair of them would definitely have been more solid at the start of the season than Bambo and Mads, if only because they were used to playing together and had played in the championship a bit.
Cant wait to see how next season plays out !!

The problem is not always the club wanting to sell the players.
Agents play a big part in the players moving on.
I was speaking with Moores agent 4 months back.
We have no idea what goes off regards footballers.
We do realise we the fans are the only ones that have any loyalty to our team we follow.
Players will always come and go.
Once the agent have found someone daft enough to treble their wages.
    Their off.

Pinnock was still very raw when he first arrived.
