who cares what they are like in real life! for quite a few years to come now a dad & son will be able will be able to argue & look back on their superb strikes at oakwell i'm chuffed for them both
I don't know him, but he didn't come across as a nice chap. Lot's of niggly fouls, deliberately checking people off the ball, chelping at the ref. Stopping quick freekicks etc. Didn't his dad glass someone in a pub a year or so ago....maybe he is a chip off the old block afterall. Great strike tho'.
Unfortunately that’s part of the game. We loved Hourihane & Scowen but they were a right pair of shithouses together
Was reading up on the chronicles points on the interview last night and came across this https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/article/20589/conditional-discharge-for-ex-red not the bloke who scored against us but his old man who played for us
Funnily enough I was lucky enough to have a chat with "E for B and Leslie Lea" on Saturday. A Barnsley Legend and absolute gentleman.
lets see his career stats 2013 FC United of Manchester 18 (3) 2013–2016 Chesterfield 81 (9) 2014 → Northampton Town (loan) 3 (0) 2016–2018 Oldham Athletic 40 (2) 2017–2018 → Tranmere Rovers (loan) 8 (1) 2018 → Swindon Town (loan) 17 (3) 2018–2021 Tranmere Rovers 56 (6) 2021– Barrow 41 (7) doesn't jump off the page as our championship saviour, but if we end up in league 1 he might be ok
