Swindon As far as I'm aware upto date http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/startseite/wettbewerb/GB3
We did! 3 points a must and Job done albeit against the basement team, but still credit where it's due. In his year in charge approx 75% of the performances have been ****. New Year good result but some way to go to convince me he is the man for the job. But hopefully the corner has been turned and he may well prove me wrong. If he does then good on him and I will consider purchasing a season ticket again
There's something odd with that page then because for him it says Swindon, for you it says Barnsley and for me it says Crewe. Whats all that about?
Didn't realise that it gets updated by the minute. I think i was looking at 13/14 for Swindon. Not much between them, but the interesting point is that Swindon were youngest last year, look like they had a similar approach to us and this season they are flying. Hope it works out for us like that. Alternatively theres always the Bristol, rich owner who writes off his debts model.
Oh yes I did when I had my season ticket last season! Also attended Crawley, Donny ,Scunny, at home and Yeovil , Rochdale away this season Rochdale was decent as was Bradford Game on TV. I repeat 75 % approx of course has been ****!!!
We've played 30 games this season. You've seen 6. That's 20% of our matches. Yet you feel you can speak with authority about all of them. You can repeat your assertion all you like, but without you witnessing those performances your comments on the matter have no credibility what-so-ever.
Depends on what he sees as **** though I suppose. I mean, I've not been to every home game and only done three away days, but I've been impressed in most of em. Off the top of my balding head.... I've seen us 13 times this season. Crawley, MK, Swindon, Bristol City, Burton, Scunny, Orient, Yeovil at home. Oh, and Chester (twice) and Bradford at Oakwell ont TV. Missed the midweek home games such as Notts, Crewe, York, Colchester and Donny. Seen us at Chesterfield, Sheffield and Rochdale. That's five defeats I've witnessed live. Six wins. Two draws. We were great - in my opinion - against Rochdale and the Blunts. Proper away performances them two. Can't beat 'beating' two clubs you want to beat, 1-0 at their place. Sweet, they were. Awesome against Bradford for large parts. Terrific game to watch. Two easy victories in our last two home games, without being great or anything close. We did a good job on Burton int cup, I enjoyed that, and we were unlucky not to beat Bristol City, played very well that day. I thought we were poor on the opening day, but not horrifically bad or owt. We were though against MK and Swindon. Awful displays against two quality attacking sides. We were dogshit for the most part of the Scunny game, and Chester (1st game) we really were garbage. But we were decent against them at their place and despite losing at Chesterfield I didn't think we were that bad or owt, we just weren't great. So overall, I'd say of the games I've seen live or in the flesh, we've been average. I've seen some real **** in them, but plenty of good stuff too and above all else I've been really enthused by the performances of a number of our younger players as well as Nyatanga who has been the only real 'experienced head' to show up consistently. All three of these latest loanee kids are 20. If they're not getting in at their clubs at that age, in the big league, they never will I don't think. So they're here to put themselves in the shop window. If by doing so they move us up the table and towards a now unlikely looking playoff tilt, who is to say we won't sign all three in the summer? So I'm going to treat them like they're ours. They played like they wanted to be here yesterday in my opinion, and that's all I ask. I'm always wary with loanees. We've been mugged off so many Richard ******* Naylor times it Brek Shea does my basterd Deon Burton head in. Off on a tangent theeear. Ah well. You Reds, etc.
Ah whatever you say. Still 75% of Kack wether I've attended or not You only have to come on this board to gauge the performance after the game. Anyway makes not a jot of difference to me if my credibility on the matter is shot or not. Improved performances will result in my wallet being opened to perhaps purchase a season ticket once again. More carp means more money in the kitty for a new set of slacks to wear in the Doctors surgery
I've seen us 21 times. I'd say we were **** in 2 of those. Scunny and Chester at home. Although I didn't got to Port Vale and Walsall away, both of which sounded ****. The defending against Notts County, MK Dons and Swindon was ****, but, even though we lost heavily, I saw some positives in those games. The sensible folk who left after MK Dons scored their fifth wouldn't have done like.
At the end of the day I do respect your opinion even if I don't share you're views. I hold my hands up and say you are one of the more sensible posters on this forum and your opinion is much valued. A few more wins and I'm sure my enthusiasm will return. We all go through phases in our lives.
I stayed for our goals, but I was busy arguing with people like the pissed up fool that I was that afternoon so I only saw Hourihane's second go in.
This is like one of those adverts that say 89% of women say it's the best shampoo in the world *13 women were interviewed
