I wonder if he said we shouldn't sell Sam. Others voted against the decision. He's pee'ed off and throws the towel in. Why else would he have left yesterday, of all days?
No turmoil. Johnson left - we got better Mansford left - we got better Wright left - we got better Linton Brown goes - we will get better Everyone chill art. Maurice Watkins is not daft. Neither is PC. The club is in great hands. Finally!! L

It's amazing how quickly things can change with fans. It's almost as if the last year has been forgotten for what has happened in the last few days. No one knows why Linton's left but, possibly it was something unrelated to football. Unlikely admittedly but possible. Regardless it's unlikely to affect the players tomorrow. Remember we lost Mansford in the summer. We recovered from that pretty well. 13 months ago we would never have thought we'd be 8th in the Championship now and a lot of what's been put on here has been imo a vast exaggeration and has been blown completely out of proportion
Well, there certainly appears to be enough experts on various social media sites in how to run a successful football club, he'll easily be replaced!
8th in the 2nd tier. Just having a bad week. Calm down dear Sent via Royal Mail and typed up by my Tapatalk byatch
Didn't Don Rowing say that he was peed off at constantly being outvoted in the boardroom? If I was guessing I'd say Linton feels the same way

It seems more than strange to consider that your Chief Executive leaves the club at the very time when he has his most significant part to play. There must have been a clash or issue of some sort. Very interesting........
He went too far with the cost-cutting on the custard creams and Bazza T's staged a Biscuit Tin revolt.
Andy Mac and myself walked a large part of the Bradford charity walk with Linton. Seemed like a top bloke. Very open, very courteous. I don't think for one minute he'd be a mole.
Or maybe, as C.E.O., and given the way that transfer activities have been taken on by Maurice and external advisers it was probably his remit, he should have ensured the transfer news didn't break on the day that Club personnel were rightly concerned with ensuring a Club legend's funeral service was the centre of attention.
Linton wasn't the CE when Winnall was signed. It must have been Mansford. I wonder if there was a verbal agreement at that time between the board and Sam regarding his being able to join another club if a formal enquiry were made. Did Linton either not know, or disagree with this? It might have been the other way round and Linton might have been the one promoting the sale. We probably will never know. We now place our trust in Maurice Watkins. He knows the club well enough, which is a good start. Anyone seen Tommy Wright recently???? I wonder what he's up to these days.
Maybe. But at the end of the day we are only fans. Mushrooms if you will. Get thi boots on and start treading down that *****. Cos we won't be told jack. Everyone in the football world will know how much winnall was except us. #undisclosed #significant fee #future interest #and all that ********
