    There's been a long road to this point, not just for Barca but for football in general. Perhaps a turning point of some kind on the world stage, akin to something we've seen in the championship first hand. How many times have we all thought "just where is this club's money coming from?". Unsustainable business models, often not achieving the desired result. Look no further than WRDC, Wendy, Wigan etc Personally, I have zero sympathy for Messi. He hasn't been content to earn a decent wage for playing at this club he apparently has some mythical bond with. Occasionally, he has crowbarred better deals for himself by threatening to leave. He must accept some of the responsibility. Will he? No, it's onto the next big paycheck at one of a tiny handful of clubs who could afford him. Two weeks later he'll be grinning like a Cheshire cat with a PSG shirt on
