    Rankin was terrible

Remember that story where he could'nt train cause he didnt have his boots until they found them under his car seat? (Urban legend?).
Fallon wasnt good enough while he was with us.

    Also, Tony Bedeux?

he was possibly one of the worst players we ever signed on loan, couldn't hit a barn door, can't believe how good he is now for Ipswich

I'm sure we will all have different opinions......... my top 5 & bottom 5!

My TOP 5 BFC strikers in last 10 years:

    1. Craig Hignett (all round attacker winger/centre mid/fwd)
    2. Ashley Ward
    3. Michael Chopra (took some getting going but was awsome once he picked up steam)
    4. Neil Shipperly
    5. (Super) John Hendrie

    & Bottom 5
    1. Fola Onebuje (spagetti legged freak)
    2. Tommy Wright (worked hard but was out of his depth in the championship)
    3. Mark Stallard (proven in league 2 but was out of his depth in League 1)
    4. Deon Burton (came with big reputation, but couldn't motivate himself to play in lower league)
    5. Jon Walters (never looked like scoring)

Can't really coun't the likes of Andy Evans & Mike Tuner as they we so poor they were off the scale. Also just outside top 5 are Rory Fallon & Barry Conlon. Isn't it suprising how many players who failed to make it here went on to be susperstars elsewhere?????

maybe am goin off point but brian howard has scored more goals than anyother striker has this season... i wouldnt mind risking a game and putting him upfront.

whilst at southampton he played upfront and many games for swindon town..

anyone else think same because he isnt fit enough for the middle of midfield.

Chopra wasn't on the list originally. I was saying get Boulding out of the decent list and get Chopra on it instead.

You're very generous to some of those 'half-decent' strikers nt

    Well admittedly

some of them were w@nk e.g. Richards but if you look at what went before him and what we have now, he still scored more goals than all our current forwards put together.

Mind you they only have about 6 between them all season.
