He'd used all three subs too. That's why it's key to get it right form the start. Moon in midfield was waste of a sub. I'd have left Kitching where he was.

I wonder if that's where Conway and the CEO got the info that the players can only hack it for 60 mins.

I have some sympathy, because swapping a midfielder after 60 minutes seems to be a requirement anyway. Can't be any guarantee that he wouldn't have had to bring someone on for Hondermarck at that point. But dropping Iseka was odd, and the way Cole seems to appear then completely disappear from the squad altogether is mistifying. The two should've been given a run of starts after the Millwall game.

Bit I don’t get about that is if all the players can’t play more than 60 minutes how come nearly always Val only replaced forwards?
Surely that means it’s only the forward line, which in turn given we don’t play the press as high up, surely that would help our forward line last longer?

I'd change to a friendlier formation. 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 uses less forwards.

You sure there’s meant to be a gap between use and less

Lol. I think the Elephant in the room is Woodrow. He needs dropping.

We were saying on Saturday he ought to have gone off instead of Victor. Then he looked to be better with a fitter Iseka and Cole round him on the same wavelength. Maybe that’s what’s been up with him, he’s not had players of the same level around him.

It's a conundrum. I'd definitely start with Iseka and Cole though.

They should've been given a run in the side after starting against Millwall. Schopp knew better though.

That should be the front 3 at the weekend. Woodrow, Cole and Iseka. There's no excuse for it not to be.

I bet Schopp finds an excuse for it not to be. I predict a random picking of Oduor up front.....and a subsequent riot.

I agree with this, but it also goes to what I've posted before; Schopp is too cautious with bringing in new players (Vita) and bringing players back from injury (Oulare).

After Sunday's game, he said something along the lines of "Aaron and Devante are showing they can offer the team a little more now".

We need points and we need wins. We don't have time on our side and some of these players need to be given a run of games.

    Be classic wouldn't it.

Can just imagine him sitting down for a dump, switching on the BBS and thinking "right, this one will piss Connor right off"

He should have started with them on Saturday, been saying it for ages. No idea why he didn’t and no idea why Moon started over Hondermarck. The plus is that with Woodrow, a fit Iseka and Cole and over the next weeks a fitter Oulare and a fit Morris we finally have a cutting edge. Will it be too late, that’s the issue. He’ll still bugger up the defence and midfield. Knowing him, now he’s realised Gomes should start he’ll probably put Gomes in nets and rest Collins.
