    People say lack of ambition etc by employing some of the mentioned managers but then mention being left behind by likes of Burnley and Bournemouth. Well I’m pretty certain neither Dyche or Howe would have been great choices on this board when first appointed, but they ain’t done bad.

    Sounds to me like they’re sticking to the plan and approaching as many as possible to interview them and get a feel for them. Seems sensible to me.

    Would still prefer Mick McCarthy for 18 months though so steady us

    I mean this sincerely , if I was you , I would pack it in , I have always said that if you are not enjoying your pastime then its not worth doing it , I still believe , although its frustrating , you take the rough with the smooth but if it ever got to me like it clearly has to you , then it is not worth it & this is not a dig at you just an opinion

    I’m concerned by “no rush” - we’re in the thick of a relegation battle and need to get results NOW.
    Waiting around a few weeks could relegate us.
