    True. Growing up though players aren't dedicated enough to keep going. There is only Phil Taylor who was still excellent well in to old age and it came at a cost of his marriage and hardly seeing his kids or grand kids.

    MVG was a much better player when he didn't have a wife and kids. Priorities change and you don't practice as much and it shows.

    Shhhhh you can't mention that. It's only when it's a 21 year old man with a 16 year old girl that it's an issue, not when it's a 21 year old woman with a 16 year old boy.

    Don't think we'll see another Phil Taylor, don't think this lad will win it that many times. Much more money in the sport now, you don't need to be world champ to make a living out of it. Obviously it's good to be world champ and likes of Smith was desperate to win it but, dropped off massively since doing so last year.

    littler is a fantastic talent but been helped this year by so many top players not being at their best. Be interesting yonight how he reacts if humphries keeps his average up above 100 like he did last night.

    That's the question as brilliant as he is he's a kid still sleeping in his mum and dads back bedroom. The test will come when he properly discovers wine, women and song. Let's hope he's got a good support network because his talent is not in doubt but the vultures will be circling already I would think, we love to build em up to knock them down in this country sadly.

    His girlfriend is an amateur darts player too. I can’t imagine there’s that many girls his age who have a keen interest in darts so she’s probably good for him. Last thing he needs is a girlfriend with no interest in it trying to get him away from practicing
