Maybe, and I'm only guessing, but could it be that the strains of TB that are prevalent are the ones resistant to the inoculation? In which case, jabbing hundreds of thousands of kids would be an expensive and pointless operation. That could be a right load of balls, but it would explain it.

RE: Surely if it's on the increase You'd think these decisions would consider long term effects wouldn't you? Sadly they don't. It won't be their problem in 20 years.
