Or does it show that City have fallen away & Arsenal are weaker than last season.

Liverpool finished second 3 times with 90+ points under Klopp.

I think that's harsh mate! They got 97 points and STILL finished second, that's insane. I think he's an excellent manager, though I'm not fond of him as a bloke. A champions league and a couple more finals. Yes they didn't win, but considering their actual finances compared to City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc, I think he did excellent. I think he did get a little fortunate getting 120 million for Coutinho so they could spend on Van Dijk & Alisson, but that squad he inherited was abysmal compared to other clubs

I actually do agree with that now, but it's such a shame the FA Cup isn't seen as one. Maybe to the older folk or lower league clubs like us obviously. But if I were the FA, I'd scrap 4th spot (or 5th, depending on how many we have at the time) and give it the winner of FA Cup. Theyd take it seriously then

I see a stat the other day that said Klopp won one league title and one champions league titles, but if you changed the result of something like 5 games out of the 500 or so games that he managed, this would change to 4 league titles and 3 champions leagues.

It's meaningless like, but shows how close he's come to toppling City.

Agree that Slot has taken them to another level though - they've been incredible this year. It'll put them level with Man Utd with 20 if they see it through.

I believe it's similar for Ferguson as well, something like if 4 point swing, he would have won an extra 3 league titles

I think Klopp beat Fergie’s best points total 4 times. He produced one of the greatest teams this countries ever seen. He was just unfortunate to be up against an absolute freak team built on limitless resources where you needed nearly 100 points to win a league.

My experience of gambling has led me to conclude that there is no such thing as a "certainty". The outcome you backed did seem likely though, I must confess.

I believe in kama. The number of times I'm on a 10/11 shot that either scoots clear on the flat and loses, falls at the last over jumps or gets done on the line after some pillock says, " pinching money" or "pissed it that" is beyond me.

Likewise number of times Barnsley lose to crap teams after some idiot poo poos the opposition.

Reap what you sew. That's why our home record is crap.

No you’re right & I’ve never really gambled until this year. Just won on a few free bets to start with (sone that people on here have suggested) & have never paid in any money of my own apart from an initial £20 that I withdrew when I won it back.

Barring a couple of boxing bets I’ve never bet more than a tenner though. I think I’d lose sleep if I started betting & losing serious money.
