What's to regret? He was right at the time. One of the brightest prospects in the country, why would we turn it down? It didn't work out but I don't think he should be criticised for taking him.
Last thing we needed was more prospects. That's my point. We were well covered in that position, and it was a loan wasted. I don't think anyone can argue with that. I understood the Wilkinson one, we were short in that area. Unfortunately he's been ****, and Smith even worse, but I understood both of those additions. The signings of Crowley and Rothwell puzzled me at the time, and continued to puzzle me until they'd departed having made the smallest of positive contributions. Emannuel Frimpong was highly rated, but most of us saw that as a ******* stupid idea n all. Glad you're here though Ponty, you fulfill my tea time argument needs.
