    He may want Winnall to play on wing again. But I think bristill have let him lose with enough money he brought in lee tomlin alone for over 3million pound which is more than our whole starting 11 yesterday costs.

    Celtic yes. If he gets the call he will def be off.

    Honestly think we should offer him top of what we can afford - use some of the Mawson money. To replace Conor would cost what? £10m? So offer him £25k/wk for 3 years. That's £3.9 over the 3 years. A steal when you consider we could sell him on in a couple of years as well.

    So important. Captain fantastic signs on. Winnall, Roberts, Davies etc will follow suit.

    I agree it's better to push the boat out on wages for CH this time if it will keep him.
    It may be he wants that Prem status as much as the money though and we can't offer him that.

    The problem with trying to replace a great player is that you have to sign two or three and hope one of them comes through for you.
    That's two or three sets of transfer fees and wages to pay to replace the one 'great' player that CH is.

    The rest can have those wages too when they're the best player in the Championship on all and every measure.
