This week's action for the players out on loan:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. Yesterday Buxton stretched their excellent unbeaten league run to 13 games since Joe got in their starting eleven with a 4-1 win at Bradford Park Avenue. Joe started the game and played 86 minutes. Buxton have also reached the final of the Derbyshire County Cup and will play Derby's U23 team at Pride Park in the final on April 19th.

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will was also involved in the Park Avenue v Buxton game yesterday starting and playing the whole game as his team were beaten 4-1.

Danny Benson - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Danny was not included in the Park Avenue squad for the game yesterday.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. Unlike Ipswich, Burton really did have three international call-ups and so their game against Cambridge was postponed.

Keegan Hartley - On loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Keegan was a 53rd minute substitute for FC United yesterday in their 2-1 win at home to Marske United. The score was 1-0 to Marske when Keegan came on and he was instrumental in helping to turn things around for the home side.

Harrison Nejman - Harrison has gone out on loan to Guiseley in the Northern Premier League Premier Division in the last week. He went straight into the Guiseley team for yesterday's game at home to Belper Town and played the whole game as the visitors won 1-0.

Paul Cooper - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Two games for keeper Paul this week as he played the whole of both Ossett's 2-1 home defeat against Carlton Town on Tuesday and their 3-0 home defeat to North Shields yesterday.

Jack Butterfill - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Jack started the 2-1 defeat at home to Carlton Town on Tuesday and played 85 minutes. Yesterday Jack was on the bench coming on after 52 minutes of the 3-0 defeat at home to North Shields.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. No games in the Belgian second league this week due to the international break.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Aaron started up front for Tuzlaspor yesterday as they lost 2-0 at home to Romal Palmer's Goztepe. Aaron was substituted on 69 minutes whilst Romal completed 82 minutes for the visitors.

Callum Styles (Millwall) remains side-lined with injury although there was no game for Millwall anyway due to the international break in the Championship.

This week's action for the players out on loan:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. A fourth successive win for Buxton yesterday, 2-1 at home to Spennymoor Town, stretched their unbeaten league run to 14 games since Joe got in their starting eleven (they're 15 unbeaten in all competitions). Joe started and played the whole game.

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will started and played the whole of Park Avenue's 0-0 draw at Curzon Ashton yesterday.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. A 0-0 draw for our next opponents Burton at Cheltenham yesterday in which Jasper played the full 90 minutes as the left of the three centre backs. They will have to make a change for Good Friday as Jasper won't be able to play under the current loan rules.

Keegan Hartley - On loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Keegan started and played 69 minutes of FC United's 1-0 win away at Morpeth Town yesterday. FC United's official twitter reported "another good game from Hartley".

Harrison Nejman - On loan at Guiseley in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Harrison started and played 76 minutes yesterday as Guiseley went down 2-0 away at Ashton United.

Paul Cooper - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Paul started and played the whole game yesterday as Ossett drew 1-1 at Lincoln United.

Jack Butterfill - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Jack came on as a 66th minute substitute for Ossett in the aforementioned 1-1 draw at Lincoln United yesterday.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. I'm a bit later with the update this week as I hung on to see if Obbi would make it into the RWDM squad for their 6.15pm kick-off this evening away at Beerschot. He didn't.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Aaron started up front for Tuzlaspor this morning as they won 1-0 away at Keciorengucu. Aaron played the first 64 minutes before being substituted and provided the assist for his team's 3rd minute winner.

Callum Styles (Millwall) remains side-lined with injury and so wasn't involved in Millwall's 0-0 draw at West Bromwich Albion yesterday. Danny Benson's one month youth loan at Bradford Park Avenue expired during the last week.

A bumper round of Easter action for the players out on loan:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. Good Friday finally saw an end to Buxton's 14 game unbeaten league run (15 in all competitions) when they succumbed 1-0 to a first minute goal at Kidderminster but they got back to winning ways yesterday with a 1-0 win at home to Boston United. Joe started both games, completing 60 minutes at Kidderminster and 67 minutes against Boston.

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will started and played the whole of both of Park Avenue's Easter games as they won 2-0 at home to Southport on Friday and drew 2-2 at Darlington yesterday. Unfortunately they are still six points from safety with just four games left.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. Due to the loan rules Jasper wasn't available to play for Burton against us on Good Friday which led to the formation change for Burton that resulted in Brayford moving from his usual wing-back role to full-back/goalkeeper. Jasper returned to the team in his now customary left centre-back role at Charlton yesterday as Burton reverted to their normal formation and he played the whole game as the Brewers went down 3-2. Let's hope Burton hit top form for the rest of April as their next three games are Wednesday (H), Bolton (H) and Derby (A). They also visit Plymouth on the 29th.

Keegan Hartley - On loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Keegan came on as a 55th minute substitute in FC United's excellent 5-2 win away at high-flying Bamber Bridge on Saturday. Keegan wasn't involved yesterday as FC United turned in another five goal performance, this time beating Ashton United at home 5-0. He's starting for our U21s this afternoon at Peterborough.

Harrison Nejman - On loan at Guiseley in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Harrison started and played the first half of Guiseley's 1-1 draw at home to Stalybridge on Saturday and came on as a 55th minute substitute in the Lions 2-1 defeat at Atherton Colleries yesterday. Busy lad is Harrison as he's now captaining our U21s at Peterborough this afternoon.

Paul Cooper - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Keeper Paul started and played the whole game on Saturday as Ossett lost 2-0 at Cleethorpes Town. Yesterday Paul was again in the starting line-up as Ossett were beaten 4-0 at home by Brighouse. Unfortunately Paul was sent off in the 87th minute for bringing down an opposition player for a penalty.

Jack Butterfill - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Jack wasn't involved in either of Ossett's games over Easter but was on the bench for both of our U21 games, at Watford on Friday and Peterborough this afternoon.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. Obbi was not involved as league leaders RWDM won 4-0 at home to Beerschot. He's now not even getting in RWDM's internal 24 man squad that they narrow down to 18 for the matches as they have a lot of good forward players (9 were in the 24 ahead of Oulare). Genuinely can't see how they would want to keep him beyond this season.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Aaron started up front for Tuzlaspor on Friday as they won 3-0 at home to Denizlispor. He was substituted at half-time with the score at 1-0.

Callum Styles (Millwall) is still on the road to recovery and so wasn't involved in either Millwall's 0-0 draw at home to Luton on Good Friday or their Easter Monday 1-0 defeat at Hull City.

Last week's action for the players out on loan:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. Another good win for the Bucks yesterday, 1-0 away at sunny Scarborough, with Joe starting and playing the first 64 minutes. With two games left Buxton are in with an outside chance of the play-offs after their excellent 17 game run (W11, D5, L1) since Joe got in the starting line-up.

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will started and played the whole of Park Avenue's 1-0 home win against Banbury United yesterday. The win keeps some faint hopes of avoiding relegation alive as Park Avenue are now five points from safety with three games left.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. Massive victory for the Brewers yesterday, 3-2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Full game for Jasper as usual in the back three and by all accounts another impressive performance as Burton's defence soaked up the aerial barrage from Darren Moore's long ball merchants.

Keegan Hartley - On loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Keegan came on as a substitute at half-time of FC United's 1-0 defeat at home to Stafford Rangers yesterday.

Harrison Nejman - On loan at Guiseley in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Harrison came on as a 72nd minute substitute to help the Lions to a 1-0 win against Liversedge yesterday in their final home game of the season, a result which relegated the visitors.

Paul Cooper - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Keeper Paul started and played the whole game on Saturday as Ossett drew 1-1 at runaway Champions Worksop United who had previously only been held to a draw at home twice all season.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. RWDM's first versus second clash at home to Beveren kicks off at 3pm today but Obbi will not be involved as he's not in their preliminary 26 man squad.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Two games for Aaron playing up front for Tuzlaspor this week. On Tuesday he started and played 76 minutes as his team lost 1-0 at Samsunspor and yesterday he started and played 75 minutes as Tuzlaspor again lost 1-0, this time at home to Bodrumspor.

Callum Styles (Millwall) remains on the road to recovery and so wasn't involved in Millwall's 2-0 win at home to Preston yesterday.

As the season reaches it's pointy end the action for our players out on loan was:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. An excellent week for Joe and the Bucks saw them notch another two wins. Firstly, on Wednesday night, Buxton lifted the Derbyshire County Cup with a 2-1 win over Derby's U21s at Pride Park. Joe started, played 64 minutes and was unfortunate to have a goal ruled out for offside. U21 Highlights: Derby County 1-2 Buxton FC - Blog - Derby County (dcfc.co.uk)

Yesterday, Buxton won their final home league game of the season beating fellow play-off contenders Brackley Town 3-1. Joe started, played the whole game and scored the Bucks first goal, heading them into the lead on 6 minutes. The win took Buxton into 7th which is the final play-off place and if they win their last game next weekend they are in, albeit it's a tough looking fixture away at third placed Chester. The situation is incredibly tight with only 1 point separating fourth to seventh and only 3 points separating fourth to twelfth!

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will started and played the whole of Park Avenue's 0-0 draw away at Hereford yesterday. Park Avenue have two games left and the point keeps alive faint hopes of avoiding relegation - they need to win both games and have Kettering lose and Blyth Spartans not win their respective one remaining games. Both Park Avenue's games look tough on paper too, with games against fourth placed Alfreton on Wednesday and Adam Murray's title-chasing Fylde next Saturday, although both games are at home.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. Two games for Jasper in the last week as The Brewers drew 1-1 at home to Bolton on Tuesday and then lost 1-0 away to local rivals Derby County yesterday. Jasper played the whole of both games in his customary position in Burton's back three.

Keegan Hartley - On loan at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Keegan started and played the first 70 minutes of FC United's 2-1 win away at Gainsborough Trinity yesterday. It was FC United's final league game of the season and despite four wins in their last five games finished eighth, missing out on the play-offs by five points and three places.

Harrison Nejman - On loan at Guiseley in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Harrison started and played the whole game as Guiseley completed their league campaign with a 2-1 defeat away at Lancaster City yesterday. Guiseley's final league position is thirteenth.

Paul Cooper - On loan at Ossett United in the Northern Premier League Division One East. Paul wasn't involved in Ossett's 0-0 draw at home to Grantham Town yesterday as they gave a debut to one of their own younger players in their final league game of the season.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. Obbi was not involved at all in RWDM's 3-0 win away at Lierse yesterday which keeps them a point clear at the top of the league with two games remaining. No further sightings since his 12 minute appearance on the 12th February.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. No game for Aaron and Tuzlaspor this week as their scheduled opponents Yeni Malatyaspor were one of the teams to withdraw from the league following February's earthquake.

Callum Styles - On loan at Millwall in the Championship. Good news for Callum as this week he made his return from the serious injury he sustained in January. Callum came on as a 75th minute substitute in Millwall's 1-0 defeat at home to Birmingham City on Tuesday. He was in the Lions' starting line-up on the left of the '3' in a 4-2-3-1 formation at Wigan yesterday as Millwall went down to a 2-1 defeat. Callum played the first 70 minutes before being replaced.

Following the conclusion of lower leagues last weekend, it's been just the players at National League North and above in action in the last seven days:-

Joe Ackroyd - On loan at Buxton in the National League North. As has been mentioned elsewhere in the Scarborough thread there was lots to play for in the National League North on the final day and Buxton entered it in the final play-off place. A win would have seen them into the play-offs but their final fixture was a tough one at third placed Chester and so it turned out with a 4-0 defeat meaning that the Bucks didn't quite make it. Joe started and played the first 51 minutes of the game before being substituted at 2-0.

Will Lancaster - On loan at Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North. Will started and played the whole of Park Avenue's 3-0 home win against Alfreton on Wednesday night. That result left the Bradford team with an outside chance of survival on the last day yesterday, albeit they would have had to win, Kettering lose and Blyth Spartans not win. Park Avenue had a tough task too, at home to Adam Murray's Fylde who needed a win to take the title. Fylde duly completed the task with a hard-fought 2-0 victory in which Will again started and played the whole 90 minutes. As it turned out, Blyth's 5-0 home win rendered Park Avenue's task impossible anyway.

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. Two games for Jasper in the last week as the Brewers completed a 1-0 win away at Lincoln City on Tuesday night and then were narrowly defeated 1-0 at promoted Plymouth Argyle yesterday. Jasper started and played the whole game at Lincoln in his customary position in Burton's back three. He started the game against Plymouth similarly but unfortunately sustained a serious head injury on 52 minutes and had to leave the field after lengthy treatment. Fingers crossed that all's okay for Jasper.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. No game this week for RWDM with a blank weekend in their league ahead of the final two rounds of games.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Aaron was on the bench for his team's 0-0 draw yesterday at home to Eyupspor, coming on as a 54th minute substitute.

Callum Styles - On loan at Millwall in the Championship. Callum started Millwall's 3-2 win at Blackpool on Friday night and played 81 minutes at left wing-back before being substituted. The win confirmed Blackpool's relegation and means that a win in their final league game will see Millwall into the Championship play-offs.

    This weekend:-

Jasper Moon - On loan at Burton Albion in League One. The head injury sustained by Jasper in last week's game at Plymouth kept him out of Burton's 1-0 midweek home win against Cambridge United but happily he was back for the Brewers' final game on Sunday. Jasper played the whole of the game as Burton drew 0-0 at home to MK Dons.

Obbi Oulare - On loan at RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian second tier. Obbi was again left out of the squad for RWDM's penultimate game of the season yesterday. RWDM won 3-1 away at Club NXT (Club Brugge's Reserve Team) to keep themselves a point clear at the top of the table going into next week's final games.

Aaron Leya Iseka - On loan at Tuzlaspor in the Turkish second tier. Aaron was on the bench for his team's game earlier today at Rizespor. However Aaron did come on at half-time and scored both of his team's goals in a 4-2 defeat.

Callum Styles - On loan at Millwall in the Championship. Callum started and played the whole of Millwall's 4-3 home defeat against Blackburn Rovers today (Monday). The Lions' loss sees them fall out of the play-off places and ends their season.

Obbi(1) and Aaron(2) are the only ones at clubs with games left now.

Nobody in action this weekend as the last two games for Aaron Leya Iseka's club are both next week (Tuesday and Sunday).

Aaron is now the only player left out at a club with any games remaining as Obbi Oulare's RWDM Molenbeek have just completed their season with a home win, 1-0, against Anderlecht's reserve team this evening. The win means RWDM are Champions of the Belgian Second Division (or First Division B as they call it) by one point and take the single automatic promotion spot into the top Belgian League for next season.

Obbi was again not in the RWDM squad today meaning he has only made one appearance for 12 minutes all season.

Thank you kind sir. It's been enjoyable catching up on the progress through the season of our younger players, particularly. At the other end of the spectrum we have a heck of a lot of resource tied up in Aaron, Obbi and Callum to keep an eye on.

Thanks again Exile. I agree on the money we must have invested in those three, with little or no return.

I wonder what 12 minutes a season works out as, when extrapolated to an annual salary.

I have always felt for players who always seem to be injury prone, but I have never in my life seen a shirker such as Obbi. It verges on criminal how he earns a salary, allegedly.
