For 32" or less - LCD for sure!

I had this debate about a year ago. Plasma has come in with the bigger screen tvs, as its gas-base is best for sport on a wider screen eg its movements flow more continuously, which can be beneficial if watching football, cricket and the like. If it is 32" or less, there is less space over which movement takes place and the gas-base doesn't matter so much. Plasma is more easily damaged, especially in transport from the shop!

I had almost bought a plasma a year ago, until the salesman told me that it was because of the movement over the bigger screen and was easily damaged. So, I bought LCD, managing to beat down the advertised price by £60 and getting another £60 knocked off, because the only one they had in stock were used for display purposes!! The amount saved bought me the five-year warranty and a couple of pints!

I bought quality by name and that was Panasonic, according to 'Which' magazine. I have not been disappointed.

Well hot plasma (the gas) will burn you

So I'm sticking by my fact. I'm conveniently ignoring all the low temperature plasmas.
