Think it's about balance in a front 3. You can be a valuable forward by adding to the team if others are scoring, even if you're not. Look at Deeney, Firmino or Mandzukic. Granted Victor probably won't become a 20 goal a season striker, he doesn't seem to get into shooting positions often and when he does he's unlikely to convert. That would be fine however if he was holding up ball, playing positively and linking well with say Morris, Dike and Mowatt around him who are banging them in. Sadly he's linking well with Palmer and Woodrow who are as unlikely to score as he is on current form. Would argue a big part of our scoring issue is our front 3's complete inability to create chances for themselves or others.
