    Surely if it's part of this calendar week it should be referred to as this Saturday? You wouldn't say next Thursday if you're talking about something happening the day after tomorrow.

    I tend to say something like "a week on Saturday", removes any confusion. If someone said to me "next Saturday" I'd still think they were on about the Saturday after next.

    No wonder the English language is supposedly so hard to learn, I'm glad I was taught it from birth!

    Back on topic. If Oxford beat Charlton in their replay next Tuesday, can't we get it on with the Addicks on that blank Saturday (25th)?? Easier for Reds fans than a Tuesday night game.

    Just couldn't do with the constant moaning of certain people on here. It just fried my brain!!

    William is 5 on Monday and Madelaine is 10 months
