    I disagree

A bit of jamming & feathering sounds quite erotic to me.

I think only stupid people won't have some simmering doubts at the back of their mind right now, even Johnny Coachman was only at 99% sure Davey was great the other week. That's quite a comedown from Davey being the Messiah of football.

I hadn't intended to do so

I thought I'd wear my very special and unique Brazil shirt.

Don't understand why the expectation of fans are higher than last year and why it carries anymore weight than the expectations of other clubs fans for their club. Lets face it with the crowds we get, we are currently one of the smallest clubs in division and avoiding relegation will be an achievement. Keep expectations realistic otherwise every manager will be ousted unless they perform a miracle and stability will never be achieved (ala man city down to 3rd tier).

In Davey and his backroom staff I think we have a decent setup. Having said that I have backed every manager (with the exception of Shitman). My job as a fan is to turn up and support the team whatever, the day I'm totally fed up will be time to stop going, but that won't happen. It was the fans who ousted Bassett for Shitman so what do 'we' know

If you ignore my male patterned baldness

Then the rest of me is somewhat hirsute.

The club raised the expectations during the closed season. You can hardly blame the fans for that.

    ok then

last season from jan onwards we were poo but this is a NEW season where 3 games in fans are calling for the mangers head, questioning decisions rather than having some patience with the club. In other words fans are quick to jump on the managers backs and expectations are higher for the simple fact thi is all happening after 3 games and by all accounts we have not played that badly in those games!

Each season you start a fresh as a manager, player and club what you did last season means **** all so to be asking questions now is plain stupid!

    RE: ok then

If, as a manager, you start each new season afresh, then what is the big deal about changing managers? I understand the theory about stability etc. but what is the point of "stability" with a losing mentality. Sticking with a manager who doesn't know how to change things is IMHO just as bad as chopping and changing.

    Exactly

Made a big thing about almost signing Kevin Phillips, after which its natural for fans to think we're going for it on wages etc, reinforced by a statement of intent from Mr Cryne indicated Davey will 'be backed with significant funds'. 3 weeks into the season and to only have Hume in the aforementioned category, makes me think there's been a change of heart. Can only speculate as to why.

Why have you got a half naked picture of yourself on a T-Shirt? I can't even begin to tell you how gay that is.

An in joke and the weirdest t shirt request I've ever had. Now everybody at a certain steelworks thinks I'm JLWBLil's gay lover.
