Have to agree too. Didn't stand out too much for me vs Crawley as being either good or bad, but thought he had an excellent game vs Gillingham. Easily In the team on merit at the moment as far as I'm concerned.

I think Berry has been one of our better players.

Has looked quietly effective to me, and seems dependable. Good tackler, rarely wastes a pass from what I've seen. I get the impression he's one of those players who gives the more creative ones the time and space to do their bit in the final third, while he covers for them. He was excellent helping the back four on Saturday.

I felt Berry struggled a bit in the first game but has looked really good since, he was as good as anyone in the Gillingham yet I came on here & saw others saying they'd drop him.

I've not managed to see us play yet this year but if anyone criticises a lad who is what 21/22 making a step up and playing out of position having played what 5 games them they're a bit of a numpty.

Lads like Berry should be given as much as support as possible and hopefully, they will flourish. Knocking them will not achieve anything, in fact quite the opposite I would have thought.

I thought he was poor against Crawley. He started off badly against Gillingham but came into the game as it progressed.

He's 22 and has a three year contract. I'd be playing him sparingly at this stage.

Only way to improve is game time.

And playing who instead? Digby, Abbott, Bree? All younger.

I don't get your point, mate.

Digby is more experienced at a higher level. And from what I've seen so far, a better player.

Danny thinks differently. Who are we to argue?

We're doing well in my opinion. Hopefully Digby will get some minutes tomorrow night.
