I simply stated we had offered Steele reduced terms (have we not?) and you gave the reason for this, which is fine. Totally agree with it. When Bobby and Luke signed their contracts a few years ago, i don't think we had introduced the 'break-even' setup we are working within now so the chances are they may be on above average wages (compared with the rest of the players - hence the wage cuts). Maybe they have to take a wage cut to fit in with the break even era. I would say to them take it or leave it, if they don't sign, we move onwards and upwards and Flicker will have even more wages to attract the players he has earmarked.

Luke 99% will properly be the highest paid at Oakwell next season.

The manager came out and said it mark last season. What ever you think of Keith Hill, like him or hate him mark i don't think he would lie about that.

Financial stability being risked over Luke Steele, who's on peanuts, tha more mental than l thought. He originally signed on 5k a week when we matched his wages, he had a reduced contract since so it's hardly breaking the bank. Let it drop youre spoiling the forum.
