Luke Thomas

I was chuffed for Luke to bag his goal & get such a warm reception. He’s had a tough few years, but I reckon Duff is the perfect manager for him.
Just sit him down with some old Michael Owen videos, like I suggested yonks back..

 

Many fans did not understand the private turmoil he was having. Which will undoubtedly cause an adverse affect on his game.

As his personal issues became known, I think the whole fan base got behind him (and he wasn't at our club when we found out). I personally think the thread started was in poor taste and not needed

 

I do understand the frustrations of the OP but you don't get anywhere with this type of post I know I've tried.
Williams Anderson Kitching Kane Philips Cole Norwood have had terrible comments on here but all started yesterday, they are a big part of our current success and all getting the deserved plaudits but did they deserve the criticism they took previously.
It's like your partner slagging you off all the time then you get a new job on big money and suddenly they love you more than anything.

 

Except I don't think Thomas had anywhere near the level of abuse that truered says

 

I think when it came out about Thomas mental health problems then he got a lot of support on here and rightly so, unfortunately prior to that I don't think he was well liked and a few unkind comments made. Now this season he is a hero because we are doing well.
That's what I think the OP is getting at and I get it.

 

If that's all he said then yes but he acts like he was hated by everyone and people were all randomly dming him (truered) to abuse luke Thomas which is just silly

 

He's become my favourite player this season!

 

His injury and subsequent loss to the team coincided with a run of poor results..he's back ..he's scoring and he's our player....let's live in the present.(que someone to post a utube music clip of " living in the past" )

 

Pleased for him looked like he enjoyed that one against his ex club.
