    If having the right length of stalk and therefore the right amount of sway makes the flower more successful at reproduction then would natural selection have made all other stalk types redundant?

    Or is Nature more complex than that?

    That is clearly wrong as there are thousands of successful flowers from Wobbly Williams to Sit Still Sandras.

    Like why are you much more likely to be involved in a car accident the very second you think: Sod it, I don't do as many miles as I used to and I've never been involved in an accident, so I'll go third party, fire and theft...?
