Wombwellers do

I was incensed at the price rise in the Shoe the other day.</p>

Abbot Ale had risen 10p to &pound;1.59 a pint!</p>

Oh well, still very tipsy with change from a tenner, so no matter.

I hope none of them have ever had to come up here then!

you're talking £4.50 just for a bottle of Bud in some places.

I may try Wombwell one day!

First time I'd been in for ages. Used to be in a lot when Ricky had it and from time to time when Manolo had it. Until Ricky's wake yestersay I'd not been in since Citizen Vic Humphreys overthrew the commitee last year.</p>

just take a newspaper with you and keep saying things like " well I didnt know that", "what time do the doctors come round love", "do you want your pillows fluffing" etc. You dont have to actually listen to her replies, just grunt and carry on reading the paper. Its a nightmare hospital visiting.
Yes the the buses are a fecking rip off and the beer prices are a little bit higher than the Anglers, not a bad pint in Gatehouse tho` and Joseph Bramah too. Sorry I cant make it to have a drink with you mate.
