    We keep him. He's the best CH in League 1 and getting promoted will be worth much more than any transfer fee we would get by selling him now.

    We had him last season and didn't get promoted. Keeping him won't guarantee us promotion. The three or four new players we would be able to bring in, might give us a better chance of promotion. It's a very expensive gamble.

    I just can’t see Mads being here next season at all. It’s not quite “arse on town hall steps” territory but I would be gobsmacked.

    Championship teams will have probably already been sniffing for the last 12/18 months.

    I’ve enjoyed watching him develop in his time here and whenever he does leave, he goes with my best wishes.

    I"ve read this comment a few times about we had him last season & didn"t get promoted & do not get it , its as if all the other players do not count, the chain of thought should surely be that if we want to push for promotion this season we want to keep the best players from our current squad & replace the weaker ones with better ones & Mads fits into the best player section, no one player can get us or cost us promotion it is a team & a squad what either succeed or fail .

    But what if keeping all the best players from our current squad, limits our ability to replace the weaker ones with better ones? Given our financial situation I personally think we simply can’t afford to keep him. But we’ll see what happens.
