Not necessarily. He's still Dijon's player. Whether we're in the middle of hammering out a deal has no bearing on whether he can play for his current club.
Difference is no club have had a bid accepted or discussed terms with Yiadom. If this bloke was about to sign we wouldn't want him playing and Dijon probably wouldn't want it either. So either the deal is off, or it was never even close to begin with. I could be wrong like.
I don't think him playing for the club he, er, plays for has any bearing on whether we're signing him or not. He's a Dijon player, taking a wage from them and they've got a tough opener away at OM. Of course they'd play him, just as Hecky was always going to pick Yiadom for our opener yesterday. He may not be coming, but his inclusion in their squad tonight has bugger all to do with it.
I have to disagree. He was pictured at Oakwell earlier this week, now he is back in France, on the bench for his current side, if a deal was nearly complete they wouldn't want him there with the current squad as his heart wouldn't be in it for them, neither would Barnsley want their soon-to-be player potentially getting injured. The deal is dead.
The lad is a French speaker and perhaps he's had a look around here and just doesn't fancy it. Might be a bit isolating for him.
RiciheD Do you think that you would be saying that if BFC were offering him 15 grand a week wages !!!!
BFC are pissing up our back, trust me they won't be buying anybody striker wise outright. It will be a couple of loans in arguably most important part of the team
Aye, well we're not. But probably still offering more than he's getting now. If he's got doubts better staying where he is for all concerned.
