Re: Looks very slow and off the pace If I remember rightly we turned him down when he first came to English football, think it was maybe the season we went down
Re: Looks very slow and off the pace Harewood not match fit? He spent almost all pre-season with Sheffield Wednesday and played in a number of their friendlies so he should be just as fit as everyone else. Strikers are always going to be judged on their goals, he hasn't been amazing but he's worked hard and shown glimpses of his talent. Looks unplayable for defenders at times but we're only talking one or two moves in a game. If you saw his reaction towards the ponte end after the Middlesbrough game you could see how committed he was to the cause. My only dilemma with him is do you put Mido in for him when he is fit, seen the odd photo of him and he looks to have lost a lot of weight, looks like an actual pro footballer again, but will need game time to get back up to speed. For me you can't drop Davies at the moment.
Harwood has been excellent since he came back to us........working his socks off and causing defenders all types of problems. Some people on here just dont understand football AT ALL Keeeflicker will decide whether Harwood is good enough and they seem to be very happy with his contributions so far. As for Sidibe......the same applies..........Keeeflicker will decide.........and if hes good enough for them then he must be good enough for us
I think with Davies, Harewood and Dagnall, with Mido to return, and Rose scoring goals in the u21's, a new striker is hardly a priority. Central midfield/defence however.........
