Real Madrid don't let players go unless their legs have gone or they get a ludicrous offer they got both in in his case
His legs weren't gone last season, he was excellent. I think it's no question they've started now though. He's been abysmal, even in his natural role. He does get left isolated far too often in midfield but a player of his supposed quality and experience should handle it better. I think he's realised that and now he's just lost interest. United need so many new players in it's crazy
Funny how so many players get "injured" either right at the end of the season or just before Christmas isn't it
Trouble is, they'll make MOTD2 last about an hour based on that bore-fest. Two minutes of "action" and the rest inane meaningless drivel. I don't watch that progamme, it's mind numbing.
I expected United to get hammered today but they stuck at it and the crowd stuck with them…..maybe a lesson to be learnt by some of our fans
That other thread is funny looking back. On one hand I'm slating the Casameiro signing, then in the next breath praising Kalvin Phillips. Classic stuff. And regarding Jonny Evans - I heard on the radio he went back to Utd to do his coaching badges etc, but now everyone is crippled the poor bloke has ended up playing about 25 games.
Casemiro was good last season when he played but he got sent off with straight reds 3 times & missed more than 10 games suspended on top of the 3 games he departed midway through. He’s a massive liability. It’s just common sense. Players like him & Varane are leaving for one final pay day. No foreign player is leaving Real Madrid for Man Utd unless it’s solely about money. At similar times Newcastle got Bruno Guimaraes, Villa got Douglas Luiz & Fulham got Paulinha. They’re the type of players Man Utd should be looking to recruit. Players on the way up.
