    Haven’t we paid £600k and £400k for two of our last three Head Coaches?

    That’s an extra £15k a week based on how long they’ve stayed with us. I’d hate to see the expensive option!

    I thought Stendel was effectively on gardening leave prior to joining us which is why he only came over some weeks after they announced his appointment. Val had been dismissed from his previously post for breaking Covid rules. I think we only paid a release fee for Struber

    He has a good track record, managed some top teams and is currently the German U19 coach, which cannot be a bad sign. Whilst I know this is just my opinion I like the cut of his jib and we have to be realistic in who we can attract, I honestly cannot see it being a homegrown manager, especially given our previous managers. His PPG return is good and perhaps now is the time for him to have his opportunity since he has always been mentioned.
