Managers & coaches need their badges & quals

    "The situation has nothing what so ever to do with coach education"

    I think it does to a certain extent. I did my FA Prelim back in 1990 ish. Probably not even acknowledged now, but I did it and I used it. I help coach a Girls Saturday team. Now I don't actually know what courses the manager did, but they may be more up to date than mine.
    Either way, do I think he is better equipped to coach those girls? My answer - yes, probably, but only because he knows them better. Absolutely nothing to do with our respective coaching badges.

    What I'm getting at is that the FA is now rolling out coach after coach that delivers the same warm up, the same ideology, and the same tactics.
    No personalities, no diversion from the norm. Just loads of people trying to be cleverer than the next. How many times do you hear a new manager say "we're going to work on the fitness"

    FA = Identikit coaches.
    So the difference becomes the ones that are better at it/ have something different to offer + the ones with better players + the ones with a slice of luck at the right time.
