    Still say to this day the big man was mainly responsible for what happened in 96-97.

    Spackman should have been hung drawn and quartered for driving him out

    @YTBFC interesting- I remember it being widely circulated around 2018, from that bloke on here that gave info for likes and even on radio sheffield. Must have been false info. In retrospect, glad we didn’t get them regardless.

    It was a difficult time for my old man that. Recently back from a quadruple heart bypass he turned down the chance for significantly more money to move to The Pigs with Danny to stay at BFC. 4 years later he was hounded out by one of the worst managers in Barnsley history. To be honest, even though he does love BFC he doesn't feel the same as he once did. Its a real shame to have 45 years of service tarnished and spoil what was really his life.

    No matter what bud. He will always be a legend to us and will always be fondly remembered for his achievements and what he did for our club.

    Spackman should have been told from the off that Eric is part of the furniture just like Norman
