Try parking here https://www.airportparkmanchester.c...MIoIDm77KahwMVwotQBh0tMAR4EAAYAiAAEgIwx_D_BwE we’ve parked here a few times, cheaper than the official parking, gated off secure car park, shuttle runs to the terminals, great service and good lads too that run it
Just had a look at that and it's quoted me £43 so that's pretty good! Can you walk from the car park to the terminal? Looked on Maps but couldn't see a path so I assume you have to get the shuttle?
A suppose you could but it’s a bit of a trek, I’d give yourself an extra 15 minutes to what you normally do, they have a fair few mini buses just constantly back and forth
Last time I got Taxi from Manc Airport to Hemsworth was £150 , though it was 1:30am. No traffic , took around 1hr!! BA give back £120 coz of self induced flight chaos. Was pre-Covid
Probably around £100? Sometimes twice that, sometimes half. It depends what you spend obviously. Most of it is from insurance (home/car/travel) which tends to be about £25-£35 a time, Expedia which is normally 5-10% of whatever I spend on a holiday and then the rest is made up of odd pounds and pence at places like eBay/Boots/Screwfix/Euro Car Parts etc. That’s my account summary but can’t remember how many years I’ve had it now. I have premium (costs £5 a year, taken out of cashback, not paid if you don’t make enough) as you get bigger payments and I use it enough to justify it. I never withdraw it as cash as you get extra back if you take it as gift cards for places instead (sometimes up to 15% extra on top). I also have TopCashback with a similar amount currently available to be withdrawn (I use whichever pays the most for each thing) and husband has both so a lot of spends will be on his so that’s not everything.
I go to Lisbon quite a bit in a DJ capacity. There are no flights from Leeds / Bradford, so have to go via Manchester. The flight leaves at 7:35am. Thankfully National Express run a coach at 2am that gets me very near the terminal about half 4. It's £9 return & if pre booked I'm guaranteed a seat both ways. Perfect for me, as a taxi to Leeds bus station is only about a tenner on top.
Hour 'an half there. Hour' an half for taxi to drive back to Barnsley. Hour 'an half to come pick you up. Hour' an half to drive back to Barnsley. 6 hours
Last time we got a taxi back from Manchester Airport, it was 45 minutes from stepping off the plane to being home in the centre of town. And it was snowing,.. Not trusting a taxi again unless its absolutely the last option.
Car parking fees for pickup and dropping off at Manchester are extortionate so unfortunately this has to be passed on to the customer we charge £180 return for Manchester from Barnsley
