And as predictable as our support when we go a goal behind, the sharpy shiny knives are out for Ben. Pathetic

Like an above poster said, we have a large percentage that are well and truly in a time warp and in my opinion hopelessly out of touch with modern football and the real world

 

Yup. That's what impressed me the most. The pub tour was a nice enough idea, I also think we need to change the badge, but what's really important is to get club news out there and keep the fans informed. Ben does that on a regular basis and often very quickly. That, I like.

It's difficult to judge Ben Mansford as yet. What really matters to us fans is how well we're doing on the pitch and we're doing *****. It's easy to get annoyed at a CEO if the team aren't performing, even if he's doing a good job. It's just as easy to praise a poor CEO if the team are doing well. Someone in Ben's position tends to be judged by performances on the pitch when that really isn't his remit, although it is in the long run.

I don't know yet. I'm warming to him and I think he'll move the club forward in the long term, but I'm not sure, we'll have to see. I'm not waiting for him to fail though.
