    This may sound silly but I'm still not sure after this how much united will take from this....what I mean is how much have they learned about their team and players?
    Very difficult to assess when you play poor teams...I tried to make the same point (to a lesser extent) away at Crawley, who we beat very easily.

    Posts lots of questions around the defence. Yea they are playing against quality but fail to keep organised or stay in shape. We gave up also question how long we can give the keeper to learn. It has to be really quick.

    Seem to remember Chelsea handing us a similar tonking in this competition in Big Val's season. Picked ourselves up pretty well after that one.

    I never thought Collins was solely to blame. Our recruitment has been woeful this past two seasons. Similarly Clarke isn't solely to blame.

    I get what you’re saying but I think it’s difficult to compare the way our players have played against Man Utd compared to the average league one side. Some of the errors made today would t have been made because the occasion would be different and the pressing wouldn’t be as good.
    Irrespective our defence generally looks like it will be the problem this season.

    I mean with the players they have they should win massively, the gulf is just massive, more than it was in the premiership in my opinion. Take the money and move on.
