You dont know me at all,

I have never met you , but you seem to think you know all about me. I have never called you names but you call me, that makes me a big man????
Why should I change my opinion of the ex-manager?

    agreed

Why should I suddenly start saying what a hard worker he was and how dedicated he was?

I don't know about you mark but if i was so dedicated to the job and so determined to keep me job I would have put on hold my holiday when I was hanging on to my job for dear life. I'd have been at Oakwell every day through the summer trying to strengthen my job. I wouldn't have been in america working on my second job.

Perhaps if davey had worked tirelesly at the beginning of the summer he'd have got his signings made a lot earlier and would still have a job now

    RE: agreed

I do think Davey has been unlucky with transfers getting completed, yet I do think he had a lot of luck with certain results that have kept him in a job.
One things for sure he made a lot of errors with team selections/tactics and subs that in the main have lost him his job, and unfotunatly thats the main area of a managers job on a Saturday. Good luck to the bloke but I want entertainment for my £300.

You know my opinion on some of your posts

But you're talking out of your arse there. Talk about nit picking and finding anything to throw at him - he's gone, you got what you wanted so leave it. He probably did work hard, he probably was comitted and he probably did have the clubs best interest at heart. The simple fact of the matter was he wasn't good enough so leave it there.

I can't believe you're actually slating him for taking a holiday as were 90% of the football industry. You're unreal.

    I'm thanking him for....

....the first season keeping us up.

The first 4/5 months of his first full season where we were playing good football and got up to 4th in the league at one point.

    THE cup run.

For the double over Donny & Wednesday last year.

Count on average how many players other clubs have brought in over the past 3 years, on loan as well. Don't forget he had a massive clearout his first year but lets forget about that.

    regardless of what you say

about SD we did get to the semi's of the FA cup under his management something I never thought I would see happen to BFC. Lets put it this way I will always remember that season not that he left us with thin squad.

I can't say I am surpirse that someone has managed to have a go at fans for thanking a leaving some good memories behind, god forbid we can show any kind of respsect to him!
