    We've also had some excellent midget right-backs as well - Mark Robinson, Paul Cross, Gary Fleming. In fact, I don't think I remember us ever having any good tall full-backs. Tom Williams was quite tall, as was Paul Gibbs. So I think that is is scientific fact that small full-backs are better than tall ones, and you are wrong.

    Quality player, left winger though. That goal against Leicester was one of the best i have seen down at oakwell.</p>

    That barry murphy who used to put all free kicks in back of net was good! he was a left back, i think!..

    If his first name isn't barry, his last name is murphy am sure lol only on loan though i think wasnt he?..

    Arch was primarily a left winger, though I'm sure he was used at wing-back on numerous occasions by Machin, especially when he was going through his phase of attempting to covert every player he ever signed or who came through the ranks into a defender.......
