In that case lets just sign Johnson and his cabinet. Raab can go up front and Williamson can be left back (in the changing room).
I’d be all for it. Football is about entertainment for me. Nothing would be more entertaining than that.
Saw a bit of sky sports news earlier and felt a bit as though they were making a mockery of us if i'm honest... little old Barnsley etc... I'm not for one minute insinuating the club has done anything wrong.
His goal record over last few seasons is good. But his attitude is ridiculous. But the main advantage to signing him (which I dont expect to happen btw) would be the revenue side of things. We have already seen the buzz this has caused amongst the media. Normally talksport, sky sports news etc. dont give a toss about us, but as soon as we are linked to Balotelli they are all over it. If he signed it would sell lots of shirts plus I guarantee we would be shown on sky sports more just like Derby now they have Rooney.
You wouldn't argue with Mario, would you lol unless you wanted an argument or worse If he said it was Friday, it'd be Friday lol
No. They are both excellent footballers but prone to personality issues making them difficult to manage. However, I would be more tempted by Mario than Gazza.
He’d be a great signing for us just for the commercial side of it alone. I’d love us to sign him but can’t see it for a second!
Exactly. If we could accommodate players that will not toe the line then Wilks would still be here. Is Balotelli going to fit into our system - probably not. And if he didn’t - then I wouldn’t want him here. No matter how good he is - we don’t want any disruptions within the squad.
They're not even remotely similar. Mido came to us, severely overweight and unfit, and had played 3 games in the two years prior. Balotelli isn't overweight, has been playing and scoring regularly in France and Italy's top leagues for the last few years, and is still at least training with a club to keep fit. Its not going to happen like, but barring the fact that they're both household names, they're nothing alike.
I agree, if we did sign Balotelli which we wont. I think he would be the most talented player to ever put on the shirt in my time of watching anyway. But you know the saying "hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard" it's a no from me.
