it just seemed as though he looked round one way and he passed him on the other. suppose there was more to it than that though
You were right about the Germans If they had put in the graft instead of leaving it all to GB it might have been a different story for Greipel and Cavendish.
And now we can look forward to the Borat theme tune I wonder if Fabien's crash will scupper his time trail hopes.
Aye, one of my favs has been a good attacking rider despite being a bad boy. Never been scared to have a go.
seen the interview he gave to the beeb? someone asked if TDF tiredness was a factor and he had a right pop!
I know we were trying to get Cavendish a medal by nursing him round but the three medal winners didn't have teams doing that for them. All the other riders knew beforehand what GB's tactics were going to be and were always going to let them tire themselves out so that Cav never stood a chance. For some reason, we didn't bother covering the breakaway and were a bit naive to think that anyone else would bother to take their turn at trying to pull back the distance. With Froome and Wiggins in there, I'm sure they could have had a medal if they'd ridden their own race just like the eventual medallists.
